The Eagles wrapped up the afternoon practice with a special teams drill after a highlight-filled session with big plays from both the offense and the defense. Four players left practice early with injuries - RB Mike Bell (Hamstring), G Max Jean-Gilles (Dehydration), CB Asante Samuel (Hamstring) and C A.Q. Shipley (Ankle). Jean-Gilles was replaced at first-team left guard by Mike McGlynn. Dimitri Patterson took over at left cornerback.

Three other players - LB Stewart Bradley (Hamstring Spasm), DeSean Jackson (Lower Back Strain) and Jordan Norwood (Tweaked Hamstring) - did not take the practice field. And the Eagles have three players still on the Physically Unable to Perform list - DE Victor Abiamiri (Knee), G Todd Herremans (Foot) and C Jamaal Jackson (Knee).
