Smith Placed On PUP; Drills For Patterson

The Eagles made some tweaks to the roster on Saturday as the morning practice got underway as the team announced that it placed newly acquired wide receiver Steve Smith on the Physically Unable to Perform list.

The Eagles also released quarterback Jerrod Johnson, defensive tackle Charles Noonan and waived/injured defensive tackle Brandon Collier. With those players no longer on the roster, the Eagles added two offensive tackles Spencer Johnson and Joe Toledo.

Smith and defensive tackle Mike Patterson were among the players who were doing conditioning drills during the morning practice.

DeSean Jackson also took the field for his practice of training camp. We'll have a complete practice recap on Training Camp Live! at Noon.
