Roster moves: Eagles waive WRs River Cracraft and Marken Michel

The Eagles made a pair of roster moves on Thursday waiving wide receivers River Cracraft and Marken Michel. The Eagles selected three wide receivers in the NFL Draft, including first-round pick Jalen Reagor, and acquired a veteran in Marquise Goodwin in a trade with the 49ers during draft weekend.

Cracraft was signed to the practice squad late in the 2019 campaign and brought back on a futures deal shortly after the season was over. The Washington State product played in eight games as a rookie with Denver in 2018.

Michel was a futures deal addition in 2019 and spent the entire Training Camp and preseason with the team. Michel was released during the final roster cutdown, but rejoined the practice squad in early December. He, too, was re-signed to a futures deal after the season.

The Eagles now have 14 wide receivers on the roster including the draft picks and rookie free agent.
