Days after receiving his second Super Bowl ring, Lane Johnson got some more jewelry.

Following a recent Training Camp practice, Saquon Barkley presented Johnson with a diamond "99" necklace and announced that Johnson is the newest member of the Madden 99 Club.

Johnson, who was a 98 overall last season, becomes just the fourth Eagle ever to become a 99, joining Barkley (Madden NFL 26), kicker David Akers (Madden NFL 06), and Hall of Fame safety Brian Dawkins (Madden NFL 04). Although Johnson hasn't owned a console since the PlayStation 2 days, the five-time All-Pro right tackle said he's going to hop on Madden to use himself as a 99 overall.

"That's awesome," Johnson said after getting the chain. "Yeah, I really don't even know what to say or what to do with the chain. None of it could be possible without my teammates, my coaches, and, obviously, people in this building. So, (it's a) cool thing to have. Very thankful, grateful, and honored."

Johnson is just the seventh 99 overall in Madden 26, joining Barkley, Josh Allen, Lamar Jackson, Ja'Marr Chase, Myles Garrett, and Justin Jefferson. When Barkley received his diamond chain earlier this offseason, he hinted that Johnson should be next in the club.

Johnson helped lead the way for a historic rushing season last year as the Eagles set the NFL record for rushing yards in the regular season and playoffs (3,866) and Barkley became just the ninth player in league history to eclipse 2,000 rushing yards.

Barkley, who is the Madden 26 cover athlete, became the first Eagles offensive player to join the 99 Club earlier this offseason. Now, he has some company.

"Well, I think it's a reason, you know, he came here and bumped my (rating) up," Johnson said of becoming a 99 with Barkley. "A couple big runs, bump it up."
