Giants vs. Eagles Inactives

Four of the five Eagles inactives were ruled out on Friday.

The Eagles have five inactives for Sunday's game against the Giants, including four who were ruled out on Friday. Here is the full list:

  • WR A.J. Brown
  • QB Sam Howell (3rd QB)
  • CB Adoree' Jackson
  • C Cam Jurgens
  • OLB Azeez Ojulari

Wide receiver Darius Cooper makes his return from Injured Reserve after returning to practice on Thursday. Cooper missed the previous four games with a shoulder injury and played 20 offensive snaps over the first three weeks.

Brett Toth in line to make first career start at center. He started the first Giants game at left guard with Landon Dickerson inactive. Jalen Carter also did not play in the first Giants game when Cam Skattebo ran for 98 yards and three touchdowns.

Kelee Ringo is expected to start with Adoree' Jackson inactive. Ringo has made three starts opposite of Quinyon Mitchell this season. The Eagles did not activate Jakorian Bennett (pectoral) off Injured Reserve.

Defensive end Brandon Graham was not activated off the Commissioner Exempt list. Graham came out of retirement this week to join the Eagles for his 16th season and is expected to make his 2025 debut after the Bye Week against the Packers.

With Graham and Ojulari (hamstring) inactive, the Eagles' three healthy edge rushers are Jalyx Hunt, Joshua Uche, and Patrick Johnson. Linebacker Jihaad Campbell also got edge snaps last week.

Linebacker Nakobe Dean will play his first game at Lincoln Financial Field since his season-ending injury against the Packers in the playoffs last year. Dean made his season debut in Week 6 against the Giants but did not play a defensive snap. Dean played in Philadelphia's base defense last week while Campbell was the linebacker in the nickel defense.

Xavier Gipson will play his second game of the season and first against his former team. Gipson was claimed by the Giants at the start of the season but never played in a game for them. He was later waived and claimed by Philadelphia.

New York will be without starters in cornerback Paulson Adebo (knee) and safety Jevón Holland (knee).

Outside linebacker Brian Burns, who is tied for the league lead with nine sacks, was questionable with a hip injury but is officially active. Kicker Graham Gano returns from Injured Reserve this week.

Wide receiver Darius Slayton missed the past two games but will play against the Eagles. Center John Michael Schmitz returns to action after missing last week's game with a concussion.

The Giants elevated wide receiver Lil'Jordan Humphrey and safety Raheem Layne from the practice squad on Saturday. Humphrey had four catches for 55 yards against the Eagles in Week 6. — Written by Matt Ryan
