The dawn of a new season is nearly upon us. The full Eagles squad reports for Training Camp on Friday with the first practice at the NovaCare Complex set for Saturday. After the Eagles took home the NFC East crown last season, fans are without a doubt excited to see what comes next for the Eagles.

Training Camp is one of the first steps towards taking that leap forward, and here are five things you need to know about this year's camp ...

Coming out to support the Eagles this summer? Here is some key information to keep in mind: Open practices at Lincoln Financial Field will take place on July 28th and August 3rd. There is no ticketing for these dates, so seats will come on a first-come, first-serve basis. Parking lots will open at 9 AM, HeadHouse Plaza at 10 AM, and the interior gates open at 11 AM. Practice begins at 12:15. Set your alarms accordingly.

Tickets for the August 10th Open Practice at Franklin Field have sold out on what should be a terrific afternoon at the Eagles' former home. Complete info for this practice can be found here, including transportation tips and a schedule of events.

Please remember the NFL Clear Bag Policy if you are attending any of the three dates.

2. Home Improvement

You may have heard, but we've made a few upgrades around Lincoln Financial Field this offseason. Brand new, state-of-the-art Panasonic video boards have been installed, along with new ribbon boards around the stadium. New seats have been added and the previously open sections of the stadium have been closed, meaning that it will get even louder in the Eagles' nest this season. Fans will get their first up close and personal look at the new features at the July 28th Open Practice.

3. Eagles Hit The Road For New England

**

The Eagles will practice at New England during this season's Training Camp. In honor of Throwback Thursday, a look at when the Patriots came to Philadelphia in 2013 ...

Last season, the New England Patriots came to the NovaCare Complex for a few joint practices with the Eagles at the NovaCare Complex leading up to the teams' preseason meeting at Lincoln Financial Field. This time around, the Eagles will be headed north to New England for practices with the Patriots from August 12-14 at Gillette Stadium before finishing the trip with a preseason game on August 15th at 7:30 PM.

One of the Eagles' most exciting games of 2013 came in their 54-11 victory over the Chicago Bears in Week 16. Now, the Eagles will travel to the Windy City to play their first game of the 2014 preseason. All of the anticipation and all of the waiting comes to an end on the eighth day of the eighth month at 8 PM. The second season under Chip Kelly is about to begin, and Eagles fans are surely ready to get things started.
