Eagles Work Out Two Safeties

The Eagles worked out two safeties following Monday afternoon's practice: Anthony Scirrotto, formerly of Penn State, and James Brindley, formerly of Utah State.

Scirrotto, 6-0, 202, went undrafted in the 2009 NFL draft and spent time on the New York Giants practice squad during the 2009 season. Meanwhile, Brindley, 5-11, 196, went undrafted in the 2010 NFL draft.

There is an open spot on the 80-man roster following the season-ending injury to safety Antoine Harris, suffered in the preseason opener against the Jacksonville Jaguars. With Harris moving to injured reserve, the Eagles will have five safeties on the roster.
