The Eagles signed cornerback Shaun Wade to the practice squad on Thursday. He will wear No. 36.
Wade signed with the Eagles in June and spent Training Camp and the preseason in Philadelphia. He led the entire NFL during the preseason with three forced fumbles, to go along with 18 tackles and three passes defensed.
Selected by the Baltimore Ravens out of Ohio State in the fifth round of the 2020 NFL Draft, Wade was traded to the New England Patriots later that offseason. The former Buckeye spent three seasons with the Patriots, playing in 20 games and recording 26 tackles.
After playing on the practice squad for the Chargers and Bears, Wade was drafted by the UFL's Dallas Renegades for the 2026 season. The defensive back had 24 total tackles, three interceptions, nine pass breakups, and one forced fumble through eight games for the Renegades.
At Ohio State, Wade was named Big Ten Defensive Player of the Year in 2020 and a consensus All-American.
