The Eagles traveled to frigid Green Bay and defeated the Packers, 10-7, on Monday Night Football. Philadelphia's defense was stellar throughout, and a fourth quarter touchdown by DeVonta Smith gave the Eagles the cushion they needed to hang on for the victory.
Here's how it happened, in real time:
1st Quarter
2nd-and-9 at PHI 38 (10:32)
- Sack! Jalyx Hunt brings down Jordan Love, which eventually leads to a Green Bay punt on the opening drive! Jordan Phillips helped pressure Love on the play.
2nd Quarter
2nd-and-10 at PHI 27 (:31)
- Fumble! Nakobe Dean forces a fumble on Jordan Love and Jaelan Phillips recovers, giving the Eagles possession right before halftime! Green Bay was in field goal range.
Halftime
- The Eagles defense is cooking, holding Green Bay off the board in the first half. Philadelphia has three sacks, three passes defended, and a forced fumble!
3rd Quarter
4th-and-8 at GB 21 (9:01)
- Field Goal! The Eagles strike first thanks to a 39-yard field goal from Jake Elliott. Philadelphia went 50 yards on 10 plays for the score. (Eagles 3 – Packers 0)
4th-and-9 at PHI 41 (4:47)
- Fourth Down Stop! The Eagles hold the Packers on 4th-and-long and take over with strong field position. Jordan Love's pass was incomplete with Reed Blankenship in coverage of Bo Melton.
4th Quarter
1st-and-10 at GB 36 (10:42)
- TOUCHDOWN! The Eagles extend their lead with a 36-yard touchdown pass from Jalen Hurts to DeVonta Smith, who rose over his defender for the grab! On the previous play, Barkley had a 41-yard catch-and-run, highlighted by a spin move, to convert a 3rd-and-7. (Eagles 10 – Packers 0)
2nd-and-3 at PHI 6 (5:54)
- The Packers get on the board with a 6-yard touchdown run by Josh Jacobs. The Eagles will get the ball leading by three with just under six minutes remaining. (Eagles 10 – Packers 7)
4th-and-1 at GB 44 (1:30)
- Forced Fumble! Reed Blankenship knocks the ball out on fourth down and recovers it to give the Eagles possession with less than a minute and a half remaining. Jaelan Phillips hit Josh Jacobs behind the line of scrimmage on the play. Green Bay still has two timeouts left with the Eagles leading by three.
- BALLGAME! The Packers miss a 64-yard field goal as the clock expires, and the Eagles improve to 7-2 on the season!!! (Eagles 10 - Packers 7)
The Philadelphia Eagles are in Green Bay to take on the Packers at historic Lambeau Field in a battle of division leaders. These two teams battled twice last season, with the Eagles emerging victorious both times. Can the Eagles come out on top again?

Standouts
OLB Jalyx Hunt
Hunt has a massive sack on Green Bay's first possession, brining Jordan Love down 11 yards behind the line of scrimmage. Hunt also added a big tackle for loss on Packers running back Josh Jacobs. He has really come on over the last three games, starting with his pick-six against the Vikings and followed by his nine-pressure performance against the Giants.
DT Jalen Carter
Carter batted two passes as the line of scrimmage and was stout against the run and rushing the passer. He and the rest of the defensive line feasted in primetime.
OLB Jaelan Phillips
Speaking of the defensive line, Phillips shined in his Eagles debut. He recovered a fumble, had seven quarterback pressures, multiple stops in the run game, and made a key play on fourth down to stop Jacobs behind the line of scrimmage. Phillips' presence was felt in his first game in Philadelphia.
WR DeVonta Smith
Smith had the play of the game, rising over his defender for a fourth quarter touchdown to give the Eagles a two-possession lead. He finished with a team-high 69 yards on four grabs.
