The regular season finale is here.
The Eagles announced earlier in the week that some starters will rest against the Commanders on Sunday. Tanner McKee is set to make his first start of the season.
Here is the full list of Eagles inactives:
DT Jalen Carter | 98
LB Nakobe Dean | 17
G Landon Dickerson | 69
S Marcus Epps | 39
TE Dallas Goedert | 88
T Lane Johnson | 65
OLB Jaelan Phillips | 50
The Eagles are still alive for the NFC's No. 2 seed, but Philadelphia needs to beat Washington and the Bears must lose to the Lions at 4:25 PM. If the Eagles don't get the No. 2 seed, they will either host the Los Angeles Rams (if the Rams lose to the Cardinals) or San Fransisco 49ers (if the Rams win).
On Friday, Head Coach Nick Sirianni went through his process of resting several starters.
"At the end of the day, it's not a guarantee that we can get to two seed, but I can rest the starters," Sirianni said. "Just thought that was the best thing for our football team right there. Feel really good about the guys that are going to go in there and play.
"Obviously, you can't rest everybody, and so we've had a good week of practice. We're going in there to try to win the game with some guys that haven't played a ton of snaps on offense and defense but obviously have contributed. Just felt like that was the best thing for the football team for this week and moving forward."
