The Eagles fall to the 49ers, 23-19, in the Wild Card round of the postseason at Lincoln Financial Field. Here is how it happened.

1st Quarter

• The 49ers quickly get on the board with a 2-yard touchdown pass from Brock Purdy to Demarcus Robinson. A 61-yard catch-and-run by Robinson on the second play of the game got the 49ers deep in Philadelphia territory. (49ers 7 – Eagles 0)

3rd-and-goal at SF 1 (6:20)

• TOUCHDOWN! Dallas Goedert runs it in from 1-yard out as the Eagles answer right back! The drive was started by a 29-yard run from Saquon Barkley on the second play of the possession. Barkley had 45 rushing yards on six carries. Jake Elliott missed the extra point. (49ers 7 – Eagles 6)

2nd Quarter

4th-and-2 at SF 9 (6:13)

• TOUCHDOWN! Jalen Hurts delivers a 9-yard touchdown pass to Dallas Goedert on 4th down to put the Eagles in front! The Eagles went 94 yards on 16 plays, taking nine minutes off the clock. Saquon Barkley and Tank Bigsby both had big gains on the drive. (Eagles 13 – 49ers 7)

4th-and-2 at PHI 18 (2:54)

• The 49ers make a 36-yard field goal to make it a three-point game. San Francisco had a 45-yard catch and run by Jauan Jennings that got them into Philadelphia territory. (Eagles 13 – 49ers 10)

• Standout 49ers tight end George Kittle was carted off at the beginning of the drive. He has been ruled out with an Achillies injury.

3rd Quarter

1st-and-10 at SF 46 (10:28)

• INTERCEPTION! Quinyon Mitchell picks off a Brock Purdy pass intended for Skyy Moore! The Eagles take over near midfield. This is Mitchell's third interception in five postseason games.

4th-and-9 at SF 23 (2:15)

• Field Goal! Jake Elliott makes a 41-yard field goal in the wind as the Eagles extend their lead! Philadelphia began the drive in San Francisco territory after a bad 49ers punt. (Eagles 16 – 49ers 10)

4th Quarter

1st-and-10 PHI 29 (15:00)

• The 49ers score on a trick play with Jauan Jennings finding Christian McCaffrey for a 29-yard touchdown pass. The 49ers take the lead with the extra point. (49ers 17 – Eagles 16)

2nd-and-7 at SF 44 (12:04)

• INTERCEPTION! Quinyon Mitchell gets his second interception of the game, jumping a Brock Purdy pass! The Eagles take over at their own 38-yard line.

4th-and-4 at SF 15 (8:04)

• Field Goal! The Eagles retake the lead with a 33-yard field goal by Jake Elliott! The drive was set up by Quinyon Mitchell's fourth-career postseason interception. (Eagles 19 – 49ers 17)

3rd-and-goal at PHI 4 (2:59)

• The 49ers take the lead with a 4-yard Brock Purdy touchdown pass to Christian McCaffrey. Eddie Pinero misses the extra point, making it a four-point game. The Eagles get the ball back with less than three minutes remaining and all three timeouts. (49ers 23 – Eagles 19)
