CB Griffin Released

When the Eagles announced that they had agreed to terms with All-Pro punter early this morning, the team still needed to make room on the 90-man roster for McBriar's addition. So this afternoon, rookie free agent cornerback Kee-ayre Griffin, who was signed three days ago, was released to clear room for McBriar.

A two-year starter at Temple, Griffin had originally joined the Eagles on a tryout basis in the spring.
