I am a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, where I have the opportunity to give back to my community in many ways. My favorite way to give back is to connect with high school seniors and help them with their college admissions process. It feels wonderful to guide these young adults through this transition in their lives and to offer support that they might not otherwise have.
Favorite Appearance and why:
My favorite appearance was the Philadelphia Eagles Playground Build. It was a lot of fun getting to play and dance with the kids. It made me really happy to see their reaction of excitement when they saw the mural we helped make for them that day. I loved being involved with this community project and witnessing just how committed the Eagles organization is to provide the brightest possible futures for these outstanding children.
In my personal time, I love to read. I even have over two hundred books downloaded onto my phone! Chances are if you see me on my phone, I am most likely immersed in a book. I also treasure the time I am able to spend with my friends and family. Additionally, I really like movie nights and having brunch when my schedule allows for it.
I spent an entire semester in Guayaquil, Ecuador, and lived with a host family during my time there.
I hiked an active volcano that was over 15,000 feet high. I also visited National Geographic's famous "Swing at the End of the World".
Three words that describe me: Silly, Resilient, Confident
Favorite form of exercise other than dancing:
I love to do High-Intensity Interval Training, also known as HIIT. You can fit many different workouts into a thirty-minute time span. It is very quick and targets all the muscles in my body. It even allows me to do these workouts in the convenience of my own living room.
