Biography

A former NFL wide receiver, Rod Streater was named an NFS scout by the Philadelphia Eagles during the 2023 offseason. He originally joined the organization as a Northeast Area scout in 2022.

Streater began his NFL scouting career as an intern with the Cleveland Browns in 2019. He then spent the 2020-21 seasons working as a scouting assistant in the Browns' personnel department.

After entering the NFL as an undrafted rookie in 2012, Streater went on to enjoy a seven-year career, which included stints with Oakland (2012-15), Kansas City (2016), San Francisco (2016), Buffalo (2017-18) and Cleveland (2018). He played in 55 career games (21 starts) and registered 1,755 yards and 10 touchdowns on 127 receptions (13.8 avg.). In 2013, he logged career highs with 60 catches for 888 yards and four scores with the Raiders.

A native of Burlington, NJ, Streater attended Temple from 2010-11 after playing two seasons as a wide receiver and safety at Alfred State (NY). With the Owls, he tallied 49 receptions for 882 yards (18.0 avg.) with seven touchdowns. Streater, who majored in strategic and organizational communication, was a two-time academic all-area selection at Temple.
