Phil Bhaya enters his 10th season with the Philadelphia Eagles. He was named the team's director of college scouting during the 2023 offseason.
Before taking on his current title, Bhaya spent one year serving as the Eagles' director of draft management (2022). Bhaya was a team captain and four-year letterwinner at defensive back at Princeton from 2010-13. He helped Princeton to an 8-2 record and Ivy League championship in 2013, earning All-Ivy League honors for a second consecutive season. That season, Bhaya also garnered CoSIDA Academic All-District and Academic All-Ivy League accolades and was the recipient of the 2013 Richard Coleman Award for excellence in scholarship, athletics, and team contribution. In 2010, he was recognized as the Harland "Pink" Baker '22 Award winner as the Tigers' top defensive freshman.
A native of Haddonfield, NJ, Bhaya earned All-South Jersey honors at defensive back and was named to the New Jersey Super 100 Team at Haddonfield Memorial High School. He was also named an All-American in lacrosse as a senior.
