Biography

Jarrod Kilburn, who enters his fourth year with the Philadelphia Eagles, was named a college/pro scout during the 2022 offseason. He spent the previous season as an intern in the team's scouting department.

Before joining the Eagles, Kilburn worked as a production assistant for NFL Films (2019-21), where he studied and analyzed the schemes and personnel of NFL clubs. He also spent time with the Las Vegas Raiders as a combine assistant during the 2020 NFL Scouting Combine.

From 2015-19, Kilburn served in various roles at the University of Miami (FL). He started out as a football operations intern in 2015 and temporarily worked as an administrative assistant for head coach Al Golden. Kilburn then moved up the ranks to become a player personnel assistant in 2016 and eventually recruiting coordinator in 2018.

Kilburn originally began his scouting career with the Eagles. In 2012, he spent the summer as a pro scouting intern, assisting with the free agent workout process and conducting film studies on AFL players. In 2014, he returned as a pro personnel intern during training camp, aiding in NFL roster analysis and charting player participation during practices.

Kilburn attended John Carroll University, where he was a three-year letterman at quarterback. During his time at JCU, Kilburn earned Academic All-OAC honors in 2013 and was selected by the coaching staff to be a member of the JCU Football Academic Leadership Council. He graduated from the Honors Program magna cum laude with a degree in political science.

A native of Meadville, PA, Kilburn attended Meadville Area High School where he played football and hockey.
