Biography

Frank Gumienny was named senior vice president, chief operating officer of the Philadelphia Eagles during the 2023 offseason. He previously served as senior vice president, chief financial officer from 2012-23.

With more than two decades of experience with the Eagles, Gumienny manages the daily financial operations for the organization and Lincoln Financial Field. He oversees the accounting, ticketing, premium and guest services, information technology, and merchandising departments.

Lincoln Financial Field has become one of the country's leading multi-purpose venues as a result of Gumienny's contributions in negotiating and contracting special events.

He has helped secure premier attractions and concerts, such as U2, Kenny Chesney, Taylor Swift, the NHL's Stadium Series, and numerous soccer matches involving major international clubs, including Real Madrid, Manchester United, and the U.S. men's and women's national teams.

Most recently, his commitment to booking major attractions led to Lincoln Financial Field's distinguished selection as a 2026 FIFA World Cup host venue. Gumienny serves as the Chief Tournament Officer for the Philadelphia Soccer 2026 committee, supporting its mission to deliver a world-class soccer experience to a global audience.

As the home to WrestleMania XL, Lincoln Financial Field set the all-time gate record for WWE's signature event, drawing a two-night total of 145,298 fans from all 50 U.S. states and 64 countries.

Gumienny previously served as the Eagles' vice president of finance for four years after spending time as the director of finance, as well as the team's controller. He was originally hired by the organization as an accountant in 1998 after beginning his career as a senior associate at PricewaterhouseCoopers from 1994-97.

A native of Philadelphia, Gumienny attended Saint Joseph's University, where he earned a bachelor's degree in accounting in 1994.
