Biography
John Salvo is an orthopedic surgeon of the Eagles' medical staff. He is a sports medicine surgeon with Rothman Institute and is an Associate Professor of Orthopedic Surgery at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. Salvo is also an assistant team physician for the Philadelphia Flyers and a consultant for the Philadelphia Phillies. He received his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College and his orthopedic surgery residency at Albert Einstein in Philadelphia. He also completed a fellowship in sports medicine at the University of Miami/UHZ SMI.
