Casey Weidl

Director of Scouting Operations


Casey Weidl enters his 10th NFL season and sixth as a member of the Philadelphia Eagles. He was promoted to director of scouting operations during the 2019 offseason.

Weidl previously worked as the Eagles' pro personnel coordinator in 2018. He originally joined the front office as a college scouting coordinator in 2016 and served in that role for two seasons.

Prior to coming to Philadelphia, Weidl spent four seasons with the Buffalo Bills (2012-15). After entering the NFL as a video intern in 2012, Weidl earned a full-time position as a video assistant in 2013 and then transitioned to the personnel department in 2015, when he was named Buffalo's manager of football operations.

A native of Pittsburgh, PA, Weidl earned his bachelor's degree from Indiana University. He and his wife, Beth, have a daughter, Bridget.
