Greg Austin re-joined the Philadelphia Eagles as the assistant offensive line coach during the 2025 offseason.
Prior to returning to the Eagles, Austin spent two seasons on the Jacksonville Jaguars' coaching staff, serving as the club's assistant offensive line coach (2024) and offensive quality control coach (2023).
After being promoted by the Jaguars in 2024, Austin helped develop an offensive line that allowed the seventh-fewest sacks (32, tied) in the league. As a quality control coach in 2023, he assisted Jacksonville's ninth-ranked passing offense (242.7 ypg) led by quarterback Trevor Lawrence, who threw for 4,016 yards and 21 touchdowns, and tight end Evan Engram, who tallied career highs in catches (114) and receiving yards (963) en route to Pro Bowl honors. Additionally, the Jaguars' offensive line paved the way for running back Travis Etienne, who rushed for 1,008 yards and 11 touchdowns.
Before his stint with Jacksonville, Austin spent the 2022 season as the offensive line coach/run game coordinator at Florida International.
Coaching at his alma mater, Austin spent four years working with the offensive line at Nebraska (2018-21), including two seasons with run game coordinator (2020-21) responsibilities. He supported an offensive line that helped quarterback Adrian Martinez establish a program record in total offense (10,792) while becoming the fourth player in Big Ten history to have 8,000-plus passing yards and 2,000-plus rushing yards in their career.
Austin coached an offensive line that helped Martinez register 27 total touchdowns (14 passing, 13 rushing) in 2021. Furthermore, the Cornhuskers produced three players who averaged at least 50 rushing yards per game in 2020. During the 2018 campaign, Nebraska's offensive line blocked for running back Devine Ozigbo, who earned All-Big Ten honors after rushing for 1,082 yards at 7.0 yards per carry (seventh in program history).
From 2016-17, Austin worked with Central Florida's offensive line, helping the Knights have their best season in school history with a 13-0 finish in 2017. That season, Austin's unit played a pivotal role in Central Florida recording the most points per game (48.2) in the country.
Austin originally joined the Eagles as an assistant offensive line coach (2013-15) under the direction of Jeff Stoutland. In his first season with Philadelphia in 2013, Austin contributed to an offensive line that paved the way for LeSean McCoy, who led the NFL with 1,607 rushing yards.
Austin began his coaching career at Oregon, where he was an offensive graduate assistant (2011-12) and coaching intern (2010).
