Beyah Rasool is in his first year with the Philadelphia Eagles after being hired as a defensive assistant during the 2026 offseason.
Prior to his arrival in Philadelphia, Rasool served as a defensive quality control coach and assistant to the head coach with the Las Vegas Raiders in 2025. He contributed to a defensive unit that ranked fourth in the NFL in opponent yards per rush (3.9) and finished 11th overall (sixth in the AFC) in yards allowed per play (5.0).
Rasool, who coached 10 seasons in the collegiate ranks before beginning his NFL career, spent the 2024 campaign at Florida as a quality control coach with a focus on the team's cornerbacks. In his lone season with the Gators, the defense ranked fourth in the SEC with 14 interceptions. He was also a participant in the Minnesota Vikings Diversity Coaching Summit ahead of his time in Florida.
Rasool worked at Bowling Green as a cornerbacks coach and special teams assistant in 2023. Under his guidance, the Falcons' secondary ranked tied for fourth in the NCAA with 17 interceptions and led the nation with 28 takeaways. He mentored Jalen Huskey and Jordan Oladokun, who both produced a team-high four interceptions en route to first-team All-MAC honors, as well as Devon Ferguson, who earned third-team All-MAC honors.
From 2021-22, Rasool served as a senior defensive analyst at the University of Arizona. In his role, he worked closely in the development of draft prospects Treydan Stukes, Tacario Davis and Ephesians Prysock. In 2022, the Wildcats forced 16 turnovers and ranked seventh in the conference in passing yards allowed per game (258.6). In his first season with Arizona, Rasool helped coach a secondary that limited opponents to 190 passing yards per game (including less than 100 yards four times), a mark that ranked second in the Pac-12 and 15th nationally.
Rasool was a defensive assistant at Missouri for two seasons, working with the defensive line (2020) and safeties (2019). In 2020, Rasool saw Trajan Jeffcoat earn first-team All-SEC honors after posting a team-high six sacks (tied for third in the conference). During the 2019 season, he tutored Tyree Gillespie and Joshuah Bledsoe to All-America accolades.
Rasool worked as the secondary coach and recruiting coordinator at Eastern Arizona from 2014-16 after serving as a cornerbacks coach at Pima Community College (Tucson, AZ) in 2012. While at Eastern Arizona, he led three defensive backs to first-team All-WSFL/ACCAC nods and helped the team finish in the top 10 nationally in passing defense in two of his three seasons (131.1 ypg in 2016, fourth; 129.9 ypg in 2014, seventh).
A native of Tucson, AZ, Rasool played football at Eastern Arizona from 2006-07 and coached at the high school level in Arizona from 2008-11. He graduated from Missouri with a degree in general studies in 2020.
