SWOOP and the Eagles Cheerleaders joined Eagles LB DeMeco Ryans at General Louis Wagner Middle School for today's Community Monday event

DeMeco Ryans, a dedicated United Way volunteer, represented the Eagles as the team and United Way of Greater Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey dedicated a new youth fitness zone to General Louis Wagner Middle School

Today's Community Monday event was a part of the 15th annual NFL/United Way Hometown Huddle collaborative event

The students and the school welcomed the Eagles and the United Way with plenty of classroom and fitness room decorations

Along with Principal Maya Johnstone and United Way President and CEO Jill Michal, DeMeco Ryans stressed the importance of fitness and a healthy lifestyle to the students

Each student received a Live United kit from the United Way

SWOOP entertained the students as geared them up for the premiere of the school's new fitness zone

SWOOP motivated students as they tried the fitness machines for the first time

DeMeco Ryans helped students use the new equipment properly

DeMeco Ryans worked with students individually as they tried out the new fitness zone weight machines

DeMeco Ryans autographed each student's t-shirt, ensuring they would return home with a special momento from the day
