Community Tuesday: Summer Search Fall Reflections
On Tuesday, October 18, Summer Searchâs high school students shared their summer experiences with each other, Summer Search staff, volunteers and the Philadelphia Eagles at the Fall Student Reflections event.
On Tuesday, October 18, Summer Search's high school students shared their summer experiences with each other, Summer Search staff, volunteers and the Philadelphia Eagles at the Fall Student Reflections event.
Wide receiver Jordan Matthews attended the event, which took place at Mariana Bracetti Academy Charter School.
During the event's first segment, students spoke with Matthews and other supporters at "Meaningful Mingle" stations.
They connected with each other in fun ways and shared summer experiences.
They even found time to take a few selfies.
Summer Search's inspirational leadership nationwide has graduated 98% of high school seniors and has guided 89% of students to college.
After the first portion of the event, guests enjoyed dinner while Matthews addressed the crowd.
Matthews discussed overcoming obstacles and the experiences that defined his life as a youth.
The evening was designed to bring the Summer Search community together.
It was a great event that taught the Summer Search students how their summer experiences will shape their futures.
