WR Jeremy Maclin

On how much of a relief it is being back with the Eagles after a cancer scare: "It's a big relief. It was definitely a long process, but luckily everything came out negative."

On how much he's looking forward to getting back out with his teammates: "I'm looking forward to it. It's been a while, and I didn't get to do the offseason program. I'm just ready to back out there on the field."

On whether he will be ready for the start of the season: "Yes, no doubt."

On how tough the process was knowing that it could have implications on his football career: "It was tough, especially when it could've been as serious as they said it could've been. No matter what you're doing, it's always in the back of your mind. It was good to clear those thoughts from the back of my mind."

On playing back home in St. Louis in the opener for his possible first game back: "I haven't really thought about that. I'm obviously really excited to play in that game, but I haven't thought about the emotions of it."

On how long it will take to get back in synch with the offense after he missed training camp: "I don't think it'll take too long. I think if you give us a few practices together, we'll get back and used to each other. Working together last year and this offseason helped us, so I don't think it'll be too long."

On the rumors that he heard in the media about what he might have and how it affected him: "Nobody knew what was going on. I'm the kind of guy that if I don't know what's going on, I don't open my mouth. It was a personal matter."

On whether he was pretty sure throughout the process that it wasn't cancer: "Yeah because I was feeling fine and working out. It felt like it wasn't that, but the doctors just weren't sure. That's why we had to have more and more tests. Normally when someone has that, you don't get better and the symptoms actually get worse until you receive treatment. That was one thing I had going in my favor."

On how he was received when he came in the building today: "It was good. As much hard work as it is, I missed this place. I'm just happy to be back and be with my teammates."
