Rumor Mill is an aggregation of Eagles-related reports, rumors and wild speculation. The team does not endorse these items.

During Training Camp this past summer, the Eagles traded Brandon Boykin to the Pittsburgh Steelers. Now, Tim McManus of Birds 24/7 believes the free agent cornerback could be on his way back to the City of Brotherly Love.

A 2012 fourth-round pick of the Eagles, Boykin recorded 108 tackles, 32 passes defensed and seven interceptions during his time in Philadelphia. In 2013, Boykin sealed the Eagles' NFC East championship with an interception on the Cowboys' final offensive drive of the game.

This past season with the Steelers, he appeared in all 16 games, starting only one. He saw very little playing time in Pittsburgh through the first 12 weeks of the year, picking up the majority of his stats in the final games. He finished the season with 25 tackles, five passes defensed, a sack, an interception and a forced fumble.
