On what teams who have had success against the Patriots have been able to do: "They were really physical. I think that with any defense, you need to use those five yards and put your hands on and really jam their tight ends and receivers. Use that to mess with their timing and get the pressure and the d-line time to get there. That's the main thing is to try and disrupt their receivers."

On whether they are taking the same mindset they had going into the Giants game: "The game plan will be totally different but our mindset will be the same, and it'll be the same all year and that is we'll do whatever it takes to win. Whatever we have to do to go out there and win, that's what we need to do."

On how easy it is to motivate yourself when the game needs to be won: "I don't think it's about motivation. As a team, we know what we have to do and go out there and win just to better our chances of making the playoffs. We're not even worrying about the standings or anything because if we don't win this week, it's going to be pretty tough. What we're going to do is just focus on the Patriots and we're not going to worry about the Seahawks or the Giants winning out because we have to do our job before we worry about what everyone else is doing."

On the importance of getting after Brady earlier to disrupt his game: "I wouldn't say it changes his game, but that's any quarterback. With most QBs, if you're going to hit them every play, you are going to affect them a little bit. You're not going to let them sit back there and throw the ball, and if you let Brady do that, he'll go out there and throw 500-600 yards. Most great quarterbacks like Peyton (Manning) or Brady, if you hit them, it'll affect their game a little bit but it won't take them completely out of the game."

On the best way to get after Patriots QB Tom Brady:"Keep pressuring him and not letting him get comfortable. He's a heck of a quarterback, and if you give him enough time, he'll find somebody open. He has a lot of weapons to go to, and we have to try and make him feel as uncomfortable as we can." * * On whether the key to the game is to sack him as much as possible: "Yeah, that's definitely going to be our goal. Not even just to get to him, but to bring him down. It's just a matter of doing it and executing it."

On whether he is the toughest quarterback to face in this league: "I can't say. Last year, I didn't play when (the Packers) played him and I think I may have only played against him one other time in the regular season. It's hard to say because I haven't really played against him."

DE Trent Cole

On whether the team can be comfortable in the situation they are in: "We know what we need to do and we have a chance here. We're not going to take a chance here. We're not going to give it up. We're here for a reason, and that's to come here and play as the Philadelphia Eagles, and then make the playoffs."

On whether he remembers facing Brady: "I can't remember that. He didn't really catch my attention (that day). We don't play him all the time. I do keep my eye on him though, he's a quarterback and I do like to sack quarterbacks so I will keep my eye on him. I think he's a smart QB and he can throw the ball when he wants to throw the ball to his receivers. He's got some great receivers. If you don't get to him, he can be deadly, so that's the key we need to get to him."

On taking reps on the left side during the Giants game: "It's to mix it up a little bit. There was a lot of chipping and double teaming going on, so I went on that side to get a little taste of freedom."
