Head Coach Andy Reid

Injury Report: "(G/T) Todd Herremans we have listed as out, along with (CB) Dimitri Patterson who had the fractured hand and surgery. (WR) DeSean Jackson went through the walk through this morning. He won't practice this afternoon. He has a groin strain. (QB) Donovan (McNabb) will not practice this afternoon. He is making progress. We'll just see how he does as we go through this week. With that, (QB) Kevin (Kolb) will be in at the starting quarterback spot. (RB) Brian Westbrook has a slightly sprained ankle, so we'll hold him out today and we'll just see how he does here throughout the week. It's a day-to-day thing there."

On the roster move that was made earlier today: "We signed (WR) Jordan Norwood, a wide receiver from Penn State who had been in Cleveland's training camp, for (WR) Danny (Amendola). Danny had a chance to be picked up by the Rams and will do some returning for them and also play the wide receiver spot. He'll be on their active roster."

Opening remarks: "We look forward to playing the Kansas City Chiefs. We understand their record and that what we're seeing is a very well-coached team that has been in both games, literally right to the end of the game. They are playing very hard and aggressive football. They've had two starting quarterbacks the last couple of weeks, but this was (QB Matt) Cassel's first opportunity coming off an injury to start at quarterback. You could see him progressively get better as the game went on and (get) more comfortable in there. Then, special teams, they had a blocked punt there. So, all around, all three phases of their game, are very solid, like I said, well coached. We are very familiar with their coaches, in particular their head coach (Todd Haley), who also works as their offensive coordinator, and their defensive coordinator (Clancy Pendergast); both of which were at Arizona last year for our championship game. They're doing some other things similar, offensively and defensively, and obviously they've studied us. They had a chance to play us twice last year."

On whether any of the swelling in Westbrook's ankle has died down:"It is actually down, way down. There is very little swelling in there right now, which is a good thing."

On whether Westbrook will play Sunday: "We feel pretty good about that today. We'll see how he does here in the next couple of days."

On whether McNabb has tried to throw a football as part of his rehab: "He actually has, yeah. He's able to throw, not with great velocity or length right now, but he has thrown."

On whether that is a sign of progress: "That's a good sign for him."

On whether they will handle deciding who will start at quarterback this week the same way they did leading up to last week's game: "Yes. If Donovan can go, he goes. If not, Kevin will. We have a lot of trust in Kevin."

On whether they have taken the bye week into consideration in regards to McNabb's recovery: "I've looked at that. However, if he can function and not be in danger there of playing in the game and can keep himself out of danger, then he can play. If not, then he can't."

On whether he has a better idea of when Herremans might be ready to play again: "He'll visit with the doctor next week. Then, we'll go from there and just see how he's doing. You've seen him cruising around on that little coaster thing; (he's) still not able to put weight on that foot. We'll just see what the doctor says next week."

On where QB Michael Vick is physically going into this week compared to when he first got to Philadelphia: "I think he's in pretty good shape. I'm not sure exactly how we will use him or if he'll play or how much he'll play. I think he's in better shape than at that particular time. He put on a couple of pounds, I mentioned that, when he was out of football. He's back down now. It looks like he's moving around pretty good."

On whether there is a scenario that Vick might be inactive Sunday: "We'll see. I haven't gotten that far with it yet. We'll take it this week and see where we're at with it."

On the importance of this game for the team's momentum going into the bye week: "I'll tell you the same thing I told the players; there's so much parity in this league that everybody every Sunday has an opportunity to win a game, so you can't let yourself have a hangover after a loss. There's no time to do that. You've got to get it out of your system and that's why they came here on Monday. You get done with it and you're on to Kansas City and you better spend every minute you have preparing for Kansas City. I would say that about every team in this league. There's no time to worry about the past—you learn from it and you move on."

On whether or not T/G Shawn Andrews is in Los Angeles: "Yeah he is in Los Angeles and he's got a rehab place up there that he's rehabbing at. It's close to where the doctor is and I think that it will work out for the best."

On whether Andrews has seen Dr. Watkins yet: "I don't know if he's seen (Dr. Watkins). He just went out there yesterday, so I don't know if he's seen Watkins yet, but he will here in the next couple days."

On whether Shawn Andrews' visit with Dr. Watkins will determine how long he will be in Los Angeles: "Number one, we want to get the back right, so I'm confident with him being out there with the people that are going to rehab him. They work with Dr. Watkins and they've worked with other athletes that have gone to Dr. Watkins and so I feel comfortable with that. I really just want what's best for him right now to get his back right. Flying back and forth, I'm not sure that's the best thing. I think being out there and being able rehab it there and have Dr. Watkins close so we get this thing straight, I think that's number one."

On who will be playing guard this week: "Probably start with the same guys we started with. (G/T) Stacy (Andrews), I'm going to see how he does here in practice and see where he's at. Again, I just backed off of him. I thought his leg was fatigued. As you remember, he just had that surgery right at the end of the season. That's a short period of time. As coaches, sometime we want guys to get in there and play, and players want to get in there and play so I've got to make a judgment with (head trainer) Rick (Burkholder) and our doctors just on where he's at. We'll take a look at him this week and see how he does."

On whether Stacy Andrews has had an MRI: "No it's not that. It's not a structural problem, that's not what it is. He hadn't played in the game and it's just a matter of it getting fatigued and making sure that it's right. He's going to be fine as we go on here, it's just we have to be smart with it."

On whether he thinks he rushed Stacy Andrews back: "I wouldn't say that. There was a point where he was doing well and was really sticking his feet in the ground, which is important, particularly that right leg, and then I just felt like he got tired. It was that simple. That happens. We've done this with other players and it's not that big of a deal. We're lucky enough that we have flexibility to do that with good linemen."

On his ability to have his team bounce back from a loss: "I don't know that. I honestly believe that whether you win or lose, you learn something from it. The important thing is to focus in on correcting the problems and don't get too high during the wins and don't get too low during the losses. And then at times, you have to have a short memory. There are a lot of people that want to remind you how bad you looked and/or how good you looked and if you get caught up in either one, you've got a problem."

On the number of Wildcat plays he plans on running and how that number changes based on QB Michael Vick: "I don't know that. We'll just see how it goes here this week. I'd like to be able to tell you that but, I can't give you an exact number, I can't tell you right now whether he's going to be in there or not in there."

On whether he can say who the backup quarterback will be: "I'm not going to do that. I'd rather just see how things work out here."

On whether he lessens the amount of reps WR DeSean Jackson has at Wildcat now that he has a strained groin: "The touches are a good thing. I think those are probably good because he's a good football player. Whether he's running around or a Wildcat play, we do those, so there is really no difference. He's running wide on both those, or at least in that game he was. We'll still utilize him somewhere, whether it's from the wide receiver position, end around, or Wildcat, or wherever else. He's a good football player and we try to get the ball into good players' hands."

On how much of a concern DeSean Jackson's injury is:"It's a concern because it's hurt. It's important that we get it calmed down. He was able to go through the walkthrough. I think we need to be smart with it and make sure that, number one, he's ready to play on Sunday and do everything possible to get him where he's ready to do that."

On Vick being capable of playing backup quarterback:"Yeah, he could do that. He understands the offense. He's been fortunate enough to have been in the offense. If that we the case, he could do that."
