Game Vs. Chiefs: QB Kevin Kolb

On how big it was to eliminate the turnovers today: "That was huge. I wanted to focus on that this week and I told the guys before the game, we just need to focus on execution. (We) came out, did that pretty well, had a couple of lulls in there but shoot, the defense was rocking so much that it didn't matter."

On whether he was more relaxed this week: "A lot more relaxed, yeah. All the way from practices to Saturday going up to the hotel. This was a good feeling because I got the feel for what it would be like if I'm the starter over a period of time. Last week I was so worked up, so I had some energy there in the 4th quarter and we were able to win another one."

On the offensive flow of the game: "It was fine. I mean we let a couple of third downs slip away there, but I thought (Eagles QB Michael (Vick) did a good job there when he came in. Although he really didn't get a chance to really pull and show his stuff, he was making perfect reads and we talked about that, both of us, 'Hey let's just read it out and let the game come to us.' The big plays were happening and so everybody wants to see a flash, but he has to do what's right with the ball and he did that all day."

On what he'll take from this experience of starting the past two games: "Well, it's just confidence that you can get it done at this level in a game-time situation in the regular season. And although you believe it before, nobody truly knows. And that's why there's so much doubt in the air always with a young player. Hopefully I'll put the past behind me with the mistakes I made before. We can move on with what went on today and I just don't want to relax now. I want to just keep trying to get better in practice, if I'm not getting the game reps then just keep getting better in practice and keep pressing."

On the comfort level he has with TE Brent Celek and WR DeSean Jackson: "They're great players. I mean they get open all the time regardless of the coverage. You know, the best thing those two do is they have a feel for the game. There's times when we draw up a route and it may not totally work out like that and those guys just know how to settle in the hole and find the openings and of course they can do stuff with the ball afterwards. (TE Brent) Celek obviously can break some tackles and (WR) DeSean (Jackson), he just needs a crease and he can go."

On whether it will be hard to go back to being the No. 2 quarterback:"I mean, I'm sure it will be somewhat difficult, but, like I said before, my job was to come in for these two weeks and that will be my job in the future. There may be another situation that arises, but nobody knows. So I have to stay ready and make sure that I'm right. I'm glad that we were able to get a win today, wish last week would have gone a little bit better, but we're on the right track and we'll see what the season has in store for us."

On the mindset he'll have going in the bye week and whether he'll think about being the starter or backup: "I think I have to keep it as the starter just because we don't know what (Eagles QB) Donovan (McNabb)'s injury has entailed and so he's shown good progress so far, but if I don't prepare like that and I come back and I am the starter, then I'm all messed up. I just want to prepare the same way as I have these last two weeks and like I said before, just keep trying to get better as a quarterback."

On the young talent in the offense: "It was exciting today because we recognized that obviously, that (RB Brian) Westbrook was out and that Donovan was out and Shawn (Andrews) of course. You know, it was an opportunity for us to prove that there was a reason why the drafted us. We kind of got in the huddle there and when we broke it down one time, we discussed that, hey look, regardless of who's out here, we have talent just like Donovan and Westbrook and Shawn and all those guys have talent. Let's dominate these guys like we know we can. We saw the film, we knew there was going to be some holes there and we were focused on dominating them."

On whether shuttling in and out with Vick is disruptive to his rhythm: "Not really, it really wasn't. I'm used to, with my past and the offense I ran in the past, we didn't run a lot of Wildcat stuff, but we did a lot of different things. So I'm used to that different flow of the game. It hasn't bothered me yet, I don't see it doing so in the future. I mean that's a part of our game as the Philadelphia Eagles, so what other route do we have except for to make it work? I won't look it in any other way, that hey this is disrupting me because that's what we're going to do regardless."

On whether he's happy about how he's seen the defenses and adjusted at the line of scrimmage: "Yeah, you know I think the great thing, there's two things that I think are the key with that – the preparation with the coaches, the way they've set up the game plan for me and made it simple, but efficient and then of course the offensive line. I mean those guys, today I don't even feel like I played a game. I don't know if I got touched today. So hats off to both the coaches and the offensive line and the backs and the protection, tight ends, everybody. I truly believe if you put a lot of quarterbacks in that situation where they're not going to get touched and they're going to throw for 300 yards."
