Widely considered one of the most forward-thinking and dynamic owners in professional sports, Philadelphia Eagles Chairman and CEO Jeffrey Lurie will be officially inducted into the Eagles Hall of Fame on Monday, October 26 when the team hosts the Dallas Cowboys in front of a nationally televised audience.

Lurie's commitment to enhancing ev­ery element of the organization has been a hallmark of his tenure. His leadership has launched an unprecedented era of success, including the first two Super Bowl Championships (Super Bowl LII and Super Bowl LIX) in team history.

"The Eagles Hall of Fame honors those who have made exceptional contributions to the history of this organization and the National Football League," said Eagles Legend Ron Jaworski. "Jeffrey's legacy and relentless dedication to this team are the reasons why we – the selection committee – felt it was important to recognize him with the organization's highest honor. Among Jeffrey's many qualities, it is his unique ability to lead others that has allowed this team to have sustained success over a long period of time. On behalf of the selection committee, it is my distinct pleasure to welcome Jeffrey Lurie into the Eagles Hall of Fame."

Upon purchasing the franchise on May 6, 1994, Lurie implemented an organizational infrastructure where tireless work ethic and innovation coincide with sustained results. Most notably, nearly one-third of the club's seasons have resulted in NFC Championship Game or Super Bowl berths since 2001. Off the field, his family's $50 million gift to help launch the Lurie Autism Institute and the $60 million raised by the Eagles Autism Foun­dation have contributed more than $100 million to the global autism research and care community.

"Being selected to the Eagles Hall of Fame is one of the greatest honors of my life," said Lurie. "It is truly rewarding to know that I will now join a distinguished group of legends who have all made significant contributions to this organization. From the very moment I became owner, I have been deeply committed to delivering a champion – both on and off the field – that our fans and city can be proud of. This franchise has given so much to me and my family over the past 32 years, and for that, I will be forever grateful. I would like to thank the selection committee for their support and am humbled that they felt I was deserving of this recognition."

Lurie's commitment to excellence has had a profound impact on the field.

He is one of only five owners in NFL history to have earned 300 combined victories, four Super Bowl trips, and multiple Super Bowl Championships. With the second-most wins (315) by an owner since the league's salary cap began in 1994, his winning percentage (.569) is the fourth best of the post-merger era.

The Eagles are one of three teams to register four Super Bowl appearances since 2004 (XXXIX, LII, LVII, and LIX), including trips in two of the last four seasons. Lurie has navigated the Eagles to eight conference championship games (including six games at home), which leads the NFC (second overall) dating back to 2001. The Eagles have also won 12 NFC East Championships under his direction (most in the division since 2001). Since the 1970 merger, he is one of only two owners to earn 20 playoff appearances.

That model for success, however, is not just limited to football, as the organization has embraced a championship mentality in all aspects of its operations, especially in the community.

A thoughtful and compassionate philanthropist, Lurie established the Eagles Autism Foundation to raise funds for innovative autism research and care programs. The team's signature fundraising event, the Eagles Autism Challenge presented by Lincoln Financial, started with Lurie's vision to bring people together to support the global autism community. Since launching in 2018, the event has raised more than $60 million and has helped fund 223 autism research projects and community grants/initiatives.

In 2025, Lurie and his family donated $50 million to launch the Lurie Autism Institute in partnership with Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) and Penn Medicine. The gift is the largest single donation to U.S. academic medical centers focused on autism research across the lifespan.

In recognition of his longstanding commitment to autism research and advocacy, ESPN presented Lurie with the Stuart Scott ENSPIRE Award in July 2026.

Under Lurie's ownership, the Eagles' dedication to service has impacted many other areas of the community, as the organization continues to set a powerful example within professional sports:

• Contributed to the sanctioning of girls flag football in Pennsylvania and New Jersey through year-round efforts dedicated to growing the game at the youth level.
• Revitalized 29 school playgrounds throughout the Greater Philadelphia region.
• Provided area-based organizations with nearly $3 million in funding through the Eagles Social Justice Fund.
• The Eagles Charitable Foundation has served more than one million at-risk children in the region through health and education programming.
• The team's award-winning Go Green program has established Lincoln Financial Field as one of the world's greenest stadiums.
