Star power. The national spotlight. An international feature. Prime-time exposure.
Once again, the Philadelphia Eagles are a Team to Watch in the 2026 regular season with a schedule that opens at Lincoln Financial Field against Washington and ends on the road against the New York Giants.
In between, a whole lotta fun for a franchise that has been in the postseason five straight seasons, with two Super Bowl appearances and a Lombardi Trophy in the display case at the Jefferson Health Training Complex to show for it.
The two-time defending NFC East Champions open the regular season against Washington on Sunday, September 13, a 4:25 PM kickoff at Lincoln Financial Field. Washington figures to be a team on the rise again with a healthy Jayden Daniels at quarterback and a defense that was addressed heavily in the offseason.
Then it's on the road for the next two weeks, with games at Tennessee on September 20 and at Chicago on Monday Night Football on September 28. And that leads to a common theme throughout this schedule – the Eagles play in five prime-time games (two on Monday night, with the other against Dallas in South Philadelphia on October 26), two on Sunday night (November 1 at Washington and January 3 at San Francisco), and one on Thursday night (December 24 against Houston at Lincoln Financial Field).
Oh, but there's more: The Eagles also play in London against Jacksonville on October 11 (a 9:30 AM ET start), are at Dallas on Thanksgiving Day (4:30 PM kickoff), and have a Saturday evening date against the defending Super Bowl Champions, the Seattle Seahawks (5 PM kickoff) at Lincoln Financial Field).
That's eight – count 'em, eight – games that are out there, alone, for the entire world to see.
And the world will be watching.
Is there a stretch in the schedule that is particularly daunting? You know the word from the Eagles is – correctly, by the way – that every game is equally important, but it's interesting to note that seven of the eight NFC East games come before December and that the final foursome of games – home with Seattle and Houston, at San Francisco and the Giants – is, on paper at this point, really, really tough.
But they're all tough and it's a fun schedule and, yes, the Eagles will be at home for multiple weeks in a row – Carolina on October 18 and Dallas on October 26, then with the Giants on November 8, followed by the bye week and then home with Pittsburgh on November 22 and then AGAIN with this three-game stretch against Indianapolis on December 13, Seattle on December 19, and Houston on December 24.
Add it all up and what does it mean? Just be ready for the challenge each and every week and prepare to defend the NFC East, an improved division in everyone's eyes.
Eyes, you say? Yes, the Eagles are a global brand and the world will be watching. That much, the schedule says for certain.

Did You Know?
- For the second straight season, Philadelphia will open the regular season at Lincoln Financial Field when they host the Washington Commanders. The Eagles opened the 2025 campaign with a 24-20 victory over the Dallas Cowboys. The last Week 1 meeting between Philadelphia and Washington came in 2019, when the Eagles defeated Washington 32-27.
- Although Philadelphia will travel to London for just the club's third international regular-season game, it will be facing Jacksonville for the second time across the pond at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. The Eagles previously defeated the Jaguars 24-18 on October 28, 2018 at Wembley Stadium.
- The Eagles will play on Thanksgiving for the eighth time in franchise history, last doing so in 2015. Overall, Philadelphia is 6-1 on Thanksgiving all-time. The .857 winning percentage on Thanksgiving by the Eagles is the highest of any team who has played at least seven games.
- The Eagles have five scheduled primetime games for the fifth straight year and could add more through flex scheduling. Philadelphia has appeared in the third-most prime-time games (114) in the NFL since 2000.
- Philadelphia has two Monday night games (one home, one road) for the second consecutive season. Since 2000, the Eagles have played in the most Monday Night Football games (44) in the league.
2026 Opponent Previews
Washington Commanders
Home: Week 1, Sunday, September 13 at 4:25 PM on FOX
As much as the idea of seeing how the newest version of Vic Fangio's defense will look to contain Washington and its healthy and dynamic quarterback Jayden Daniels, the real curiosity here is what the Eagles' offense will show. It's probable that offensive coordinator Sean Mannion will keep things close to the vest throughout Training Camp and the preseason, so Week 1 is going to be the first real feel of the offense. THAT is the storyline to follow, and that is probably not going to change.
Away: Week 8, Sunday, November 1 at 8:20 PM on NBC's Sunday Night Football
This is an NFC East back-to-back key moment in the season – with a Game against the Giants a week later (weird, right?) -- and the hierarchy in the division should be pretty well established by this point. Keeping that NFC East for three consecutive weeks is very, very challenging. Week 2 of this stretch on the road may be the toughest test of all.
2025 Record: 5-12 (3rd in NFC East)
Head Coach: Dan Quinn, 3rd season
Key Additions: DE Odafe Oweh, LB Sonny Styles, WR Dyami Brown
Key Departures: C Tyler Biadasz, CB Marshon Lattimore, RB Chris Rodriguez Jr.
Tennessee Titans
Away: Week 2, Sunday, September 20 at 1 PM on FOX
Tennessee is rebuilding around quarterback Cam Ward and new head coach Robert Saleh, whose defensive prowess is established throughout the NFL. Tennessee went 3-14 last season, but Saleh is a no-nonsense coach who will have the Titans playing hard, physical football. The storyline to watch now: Fangio and his scheme against a second-year quarterback hoping to find success early in the schedule. This is one of just five currently scheduled 1 PM kickoffs for the Eagles in 2026.
2025 Record: 3-14 (4th in AFC South)
Head Coach: Robert Saleh, 1st season
Key Additions: HC Robert Saleh, DE Jermaine Johnson II, WR Carnell Tate
Key Departures: S Xavier Woods, DT T'Vondre Sweat, CB L'Jarius Sneed
Chicago Bears
Away: Week 3, Monday, September 28 at 8:15 PM on ESPN's Monday Night Football
A Monday Night Football game in Chicago is always fun, and the Bears showed that they are a team on the rise with their performance in 2025. Chicago had great success running the football in the Black Friday win at Lincoln Financial Field, so that's what bears – pun intended – watching here: How much do the Eagles remember about last season's defensive performance and how they will adjust to the unique offensive run game the Bears bring to the table?
This is the first of five prime-time matchups and eight stand-alone games in 2026 for the Eagles.
2025 Record: 11-6 (1st in NFC North, Lost in Divisional Round)
Head Coach: Ben Johnson, 2nd season
Key Additions: C Garrett Bradbury, S Dillon Thieneman, LB Devin Bush
Key Departures: WR DJ Moore, S Kevin Byard III, C Drew Dalman
Los Angeles Rams
Home: Week 4, Sunday, October 4 at 1 PM on FOX
The Eagles are 3-0 against the Rams over the past two seasons and all three of those matchups were unforgettable, including one of the best comeback wins of the entire 2025 season a year ago. When you're playing the Rams, it's all about figuring out a way to get quarterback Matthew Stafford off his game and about winning against a dynamic Los Angeles defensive front.
2025 Record: 12-5 (2nd in NFC West, Lost in NFC Championship)
Head Coach: Sean McVay, 10th season
Key Additions: CB Trent McDuffie, CB Jaylen Watson, QB Ty Simpson
Key Departures: T Rob Havenstein, CB Darious Williams, CB Cobie Durant
Jacksonville Jaguars
Away (at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London): Week 5, Sunday, October 11 at 9:30 AM EST on NFL Network
The Eagles are probably going to treat this like a West Coast game: Fly out on Friday night and play the game and then get right back to Philadelphia. It's a tough gig, especially with a game the following Sunday. As for the football game itself, can we all agree that seeing where second-year Jaguar Travis Hunter fits into the equation will be fun? He could be a cornerback. He could be a wide receiver. The Eagles have depth and talent at both of those positions, so let's see how that battle – or battles – turns out.
This marks the third international regular-season game in Eagles history. The first also came in London against the Jaguars, a 24-18 win at Wembley Stadium in 2018.
2025 Record: 13-4 (1st AFC South, Lost in Wild Card Round)
Head Coach: Liam Coen, 2nd season
Key Additions: RB Chris Rodriguez Jr., DT Ruke Orhorhoro, TE Nate Boerkircher
Key Departures: RB Travis Etienne Jr., LB Devin Lloyd, CB Greg Newsome II
Carolina Panthers
Home: Week 6, Sunday, October 18 at 1 PM on CBS
Not sure that playing against Jaelan Phillips – the former Eagles defensive end now in Carolina –moves the needle – but it points to a strength-vs.-strength battle: Carolina reached the postseason last year in large part because its defense played very well. The Panthers are excellent in the trenches on that side of the ball, so the Eagles will have their hands full.
2025 Record: 8-9 (1st in NFC South, Lost in Wild Card Round)
Head Coach: Dave Canales, 3rd season
Key Additions: LB Jaelan Phillips, LB Devin Lloyd, T Monroe Freeling
Key Departures: RB Rico Dowdle, C Cade Mays, DT A'Shawn Robinson
Dallas Cowboys
Home: Week 7, Monday, October 26 at 8:15 PM on ESPN's Monday Night Football
How about this one? Riq Woolen was a key offseason addition to the Eagles' defense and he and Quinyon Mitchell and Cooper DeJean and the entire secondary face an absolutely dynamic passing attack in this Monday Night Football game. The Rams will be a test, no doubt. Washington, for sure. Hey look, all of the teams the Eagles play have weapons. But Dallas has maybe the most explosive passing game in the league so that is the storyline here.
Away: Week 12, Thanksgiving, Thursday, November 26 at 4:30 PM on FOX
Thanksgiving Day. A short week. At Dallas. The fourth NFC East game in five weeks. And a Dallas football team that is accustomed to hosting on Thanksgiving Day, that knows how to navigate the short week, etc. The teams know each other, they are likely to be involved in the division race and this game should be bonkers fun.
It should be no surprise that the best rivalry in the NFL is featured in prime time then later in a holiday stand-alone broadcast.
2025 Record: 7-9-1 (2nd in NFC East)
Head Coach: Brian Schottenheimer, 2nd season
Key Additions: DE Rashan Gary, S Caleb Downs, DE Malachi Lawrence, DC Christian Parker
Key Departures: DT Osa Odighizuwa, LB Logan Wilson, DT Solomon Thomas
New York Giants
Home: Week 9, Sunday, November 8 at 1 PM on FOX
Gotta hand it to New York quarterback Jaxson Dart: He was a handful for the Eagles last season with his movement, his instincts and his fearlessness. The offense is better around Dart now, and the Giants have a new head coach in John Harbaugh and a rising expectation. How the Eagles contain Dart and his scrambling is a great storyline here.
Away: Week 18, Date/Time/Network TBD
A division game to end the schedule. Of course!! How much will be on the line here? That's always the question and the storyline for Week 18. Start fast and finish strong. That's how the Eagles want to play it in the season ahead and finishing at the Giants, with a stadium that will feature a lot of Eagles green, it is a fabulous way to put icing on the regular-season cake.
2025 Record: 4-13 (4th in NFC East)
Head Coach: John Harbaugh, 1st season
Key Additions: HC John Harbaugh, LB Arvell Reese, T Francis Mauigoa, TE Isaiah Likely
Key Departures: DT Dexter Lawrence, WR Wan'Dale Robinson, TE Daniel Bellinger
Pittsburgh Steelers
Home: Week 11, Sunday, November 22 at 4:25 PM on CBS
Visions of the younger version of quarterback Aaron Rodgers remain: He was so quick to release the ball, so accurate, such a great arm. A really, really tough assignment. Will Rodgers, at age 42, still be the Steelers quarterback this late in the season? If not, Pittsburgh has an extremely tough path to victory.
2025 Record: 10-7 (1st in AFC North, Lost in Wild Card Round)
Head Coach: Mike McCarthy, 1st season
Key Additions: HC Mike McCarthy, WR Michael Pittman Jr., RB Rico Dowdle
Key Departures: RB Kenneth Gainwell, G Isaac Seumalo, TE Jonnu Smith
Arizona Cardinals
Away: Week 13, Sunday, December 6 at 4:05 PM on FOX
Arizona has a lot of work to do to get back into the thick of things in the brutal NFC West, but they have high, high hopes for No. 3 overall draft pick Jeremiyah Love. He and Marvin Harrison, Jr, a talented wide receiver, form the core of the future for the Cardinals. The storyline here is travel – playing in Dallas on Thanksgiving and then heading all the way back out to Arizona is not easy. And if you're too young to remember, look back at some of the struggles the Eagles have had in Arizona. It … is … never … easy. 2025 Record: 3-14 (4th in NFC West)
Head Coach: Mike LaFleur, 1st season
Key Additions: HC Mike LaFleur, RB Jeremiyah Love, QB Carson Beck
Key Departures: QB Kyler Murray, DT Dalvin Tomlinson, S Jalen Tomlinson
Indianapolis Colts
Home: Week 14, Sunday, December 13 at 1 PM on FOX
Are the Colts again going to be a playoff team? If so, they need great play from quarterback Daniel Jones, who is coming off an Achilles injury. Indianapolis has a solid team that was the surprise of the NFL before Jones went down and the Colts collapsed. A good storyline is that it's going to be a huge, huge game for the Eagles. No letdowns with a brutal four-game stretch to end the regular season.
2025 Record: 8-9 (3rd in AFC South)
Head Coach: Shane Steichen, 4th season
Key Additions: DT Colby Wooden, CB Cam Taylor-Britt, LB Arden Key
Key Departures: WR Michael Pittman Jr., LB Zaire Franklin, DE Kwity Paye
Seattle Seahawks
Home: Week 15, Saturday, December 19 at 5 PM on FOX
A Saturday late-afternoon game at Lincoln Financial Field in December! What fun! And a huge one at that. Seattle's defense is among the best in the league, so where are the Eagles going to be offensively late in the season? What about Mannion's offense is clicking? This is as good a test as any on the schedule.
2025 Record: 14-3 (1st in NFC West, Won Super Bowl)
Head Coach: Mike Macdonald, 3rd season
Key Additions: RB Emanuel Wilson, RB Jadarian Price, S Bud Clark
Key Departures: RB Kenneth Walker III, S Coby Bryant, CB Riq Woolen
Houston Texans
Home: Week 16, Christmas Eve, Thursday, December 24 at 8:15 PM on Amazon Prime's Thursday Night Football
And then there is THIS defense!! A powerhouse, led by end Will Anderson, a great cornerback in Derek Stingley and an all-out takeaway machine. Safety Reed Blankenship is a key piece for the Texans and, of course, we love him for all that he did as an Eagle, so this is a great one to watch. Houston is a Super Bowl-contending team. The Eagles are as well. Seattle and Houston in a span of four days. Wowowowow!
2025 Record: 12-5 (2nd in AFC South, Lost in Divisional Round)
Head Coach: DeMeco Ryans, 4th season
Key Additions: S Reed Blankenship, RB David Montgomery, G Wyatt Teller
Key Departures: S Jimmie Ward, RB Joe Mixon, WR Christian Kirk
San Francisco 49ers
Away: Week 17, Sunday, January 3, 2027 at 8:20 PM on NBC's Sunday Night Football
Yet another stand-alone game, this time on Football Night In America. The 49ers worked that Brock Purdy offense into a win in the 2025 postseason, and the San Francisco defense stifled the Eagles and, well, let's see how the Eagles respond here in the midst of the down-the-stretch gauntlet.
2025 Record: 12-5 (3rd in NFC West, Lost in Divisional Round)
Head Coach: Kyle Shanahan, 10th season
Key Additions: WR Mike Evans, DT Osa Odighizuwa, WR De'Zhaun Stribling
Key Departures: WR Kendrick Bourne, DL Bryce Huff, LB Dee Winters
