The Eagles released cornerback Parry Nickerson from the active roster on Monday. Nickerson, who started the season on the practice squad, was signed to the 53-man roster after Jakorian Bennett was placed on Injured Reserve before Week 4.
Nickerson was active for every game he spent on the active roster and saw limited action on defense, including playing against the Giants. Bennett returned to practice last week but was not activated off Injured Reserve.
The Eagles' cornerbacks on the 53-man roster are Quinyon Mitchell, Cooper DeJean, Adoree' Jackson, Kelee Ringo, and Mac McWilliams.
Philadelphia also released defensive end Titus Leo, who signed with the team two weeks ago, from the practice squad. — Written by Matt Ryan
