Eagles open practice window for Azeez Ojulari

Ojulari has missed the last 10 games with a hamstring injury.

Azeez

The Eagles opened the practice window for outside linebacker Azeez Ojulari on Wednesday.

Ojulari was inactive for the first four games of the season before making his Eagles debut in Week 5 against the Broncos. He played just four snaps in Week 7 against the Vikings before leaving with a hamstring injury. He was placed on Injured Reserve after Philadelphia's Week 8 game against the Giants.

Ojulari entered the rotation when Nolan Smith was placed on Injured Reserve. Since then, Smith has returned to action, Brandon Graham came out of retirement, and the Eagles acquired Jaelan Phillips from the Dolphins. In 67 defensive snaps, Ojulari has six tackles, one for a loss, and a quarterback hit.

A second-round pick in 2021 by the Giants, Ojulari played his first four seasons for New York. During that time he had 22 sacks in 46 games (30 starts). — Matt Ryan
