Eagles Locker Room

QB Vince Young

On whether having a game under his belt and another week of preparation has helped with his knowledge of the offense: "I just want to play the game, whatever happens. I've been preaching all week to the offense that we have four quarters to play. So if it starts off bad, have anything rough, make a mistake, put it in your past and get ready for the next series or the next play and just play hard, total four quarters and that's all you have to do."

On whether being a good leader is important to him as a quarterback: "That's our job. I like to keep guys loose, having a good time and at the same time taking care of your responsibilities and things like that. But don't try to get to the point where you have to try to do something big, just play the game, play the game, respect the call, be aggressive and if you have a mistake put it in the past, go to the sideline and try to correct it and that's some of the things that I have to do as a quarterback to keep things going. So I want to preach that to the rest of the guys that if they have a mistake to put it in the past and get ready for the next play."

On whether he has a better feel for how he looks in this offense: "It's always good to get something on tape and go back and coach and correct it. You know, same thing when you're at practice and you make a mistake, same thing. So it's not about me, I always say that. It's about each and every last one of the guys in this locker room that we all make plays and we definitely make mistakes, but learn from it and if a leader or starter or someone tries to come and help you out, pay attention and listen and when your next time comes you're going to do a good job as well."

On why he always says "it's not about me": "Because there are a lot of people thinking is this an opportunity to get ready for another team, but right now I'm a Philadelphia Eagle and it's a team effort, team game. So I want to help this team and I want everybody to know that because I'm not thinking about myself and I want people to know that I'm thinking about my teammates."

On guys stepping up and making plays on the last drive of the game: "From myself, to (WR) Riley (Cooper) to all of the guys, I mean, being on the scout team and watching, we want to get out there and make plays and make plays for our teammates as well (and) just to get into real, live action to get out there and make plays for out team, that was huge for each and last one of us. So we're very confident in that and we want to go out and make plays and do our responsibilities. So just to see a lot of guys making big plays for us, that's huge for us."

On his thoughts about the 18-play drive at the end of the game: "I put that in (offensive coordinator) Marty's (Mornhinweg) and Andy Reid's (hands), that's the coaches. The biggest thing is we just have to go out there and play. Whatever play is called you want to go out there and execute the play, pretty much that's our mindset is taking care of the ball and trying to keep (Patriots QB Tom) Brady off of the field because they have a really explosive offense."

On his thoughts about Brady: "I mean, it went down to the wire. (When I was with the Titans) we've had some good games. Actually the funny thing about it is (CB) Asante (Samuel) picks me off and they win the game (laughing). So thank God he's here and playing with us. They're a very respectable team and like I said earlier we just want to take care of the ball, be very patient, you're not (always) going to get the big runs but you have to be patient throughout the game and wait until they give you those types of throws, the deep throws and things like that. But the biggest thing from an offensive standpoint is we want to be patient in everything we do."

On whether he has raised his expectations after last week's victory: "Not really. I just want to go in and make sure (we do) the same thing, same tempo, get the guys out of the huddle, make plays on third down and score points. And the biggest thing is lead the guys down against a really good football team. So my biggest thing is the same thing from last week, just go out and lead the guys and try to lead them to a victory."

DE Jason Babin

On what he is concentrating on against the New England Patriots offense: "The biggest thing for us is that we can't beat ourselves. If we are in the right gap, in the right place, doing the right thing and using the proper technique, we can be very successful. When we don't do those things, in the past that has been giving us some trouble."

On whether he has seen different things from QB Vince Young here than in Tennessee: "I think it really started last week. He knew that he was going to play on Sunday, and really took control of things out there. In the same sense, he was light and kept it fun. He was very vocal with the fellas. I think they responded to him well last week, and in the end he played pretty well. I think that's a good place to build on."

On how important it is to get pressure on Patriots QB Tom Brady: "The biggest thing for him is we always say, 'Look, how long does he hold the ball?' Usually, he holds it as long as he can because he has a good presence in the pocket of feeling pressure and feeling people around him. We're taking a special onus on top of ourselves and saying that we need to get there."

On whether it helps the defense if the Eagles offense has longer, sustained drives as opposed to running a quick-strike offense: "We like when our offense does well because it's a team sport. When they do well, we do well, and when we do well, they do well. That's really what it's all about. When the special teams also do well, you have a winning formula. Whatever it takes for them to put points on the board, that's what I want them to do. Whatever it may be. "

CB Brandon Hughes

On whether New England will try and test him more than the other cornerbacks: "I'm quite sure that they're going to test me at some point. You just have to prepare for it and be ready."

On whether it was different to work with the first team: "No, I worked with them yesterday and I worked with them the day before and the game before. It's about just getting prepared with how the safeties communicate."

On what kind of corner he is: "I'm a corner at the end of the day. I play football, and I go out there and compete. I can't give you the type of corner that I am, I'm just a player."

On how things went in practice without CB Nnamdi Asomugha: "That's the nature of football. We have had guys down and other guys step in and make plays. That's what they're counting on as far as myself. There are other guys who are playing hurt also, and guys are stepping in for them. Coach (Andy) Reid, the coaching staff, and the guys in this locker room expect the same thing out of anybody that suits up on game day, and that's be detail-orientated and compete."

CB Joselio Hanson

On the defense possibly being without CB Nnamdi Asomugha: "Everybody is excited about getting an opportunity. That's the way you have to be when you're in the league because it's all about opportunities. If I get in there and I'm playing more, I have to be happy about that and I need to ball out."

On how tough it will be if Asomugha doesn't play against the Patriots passing attack: "It's tough, but I think we're up to the challenge. Let's just see what happens."
