Eagles Bring Back Lindley, Cooper

As the Eagles continue to fill out their 80-man roster for the offseason, the team officially welcomed back two familiar faces on Wednesday in cornerback Trevard Lindley and running back Graig Cooper.

Lindley was originally a fourth-round pick of the Eagles in 2010 out of Kentucky. A reserve cornerback in his rookie season, Lindley (6-0, 183 pounds) he notched 21 tackles, recovered a fumble and knocked down two passes. He was with the team in this past season's training camp, but was released at the final roster cutdown.

Cooper was signed by the Eagles as a rookie free agent this past offseason out of Miami. The 5-10, 205-pound Cooper was with the team in the preseason and recorded 31 rushing yards and a touchdown. When Cooper left Miami, he was ranked third in school history with 3,864 all-purpose yards and fifth in rushing yards (2,387). In three straight years (2007-09), Cooper led the Hurricanes in rushing. Cooper was teammates with LeSean McCoy at Milford Prep before enrolling at Miami.

Lindley and Cooper join the six practice squad players that the Eagles re-signed to future contracts on Monday.
