Dallas Injuries: Concern For DE Ware?

With all of the attention this week focused on the status of quarterback Tony Romo and, to a degree, linebacker Sean Lee, a late-week injury to DeMarcus Ware could have an impact for the Cowboys in Sunday night's game against the Eagles.

After participating in full practice both on Wednesday and Thursday, Ware missed practice on Friday and is listed as questionable to play on Sunday. Ware, who has struggled all season with injuries and has just six quarterback sacks in 12 games, did not play in the Cowboys' 17-3 win over Philadelphia on October 20 at Lincoln Financial Field.

Ware, who had an MRI on his elbow on Thursday, indicated to reporters on Friday that he was preparing to play on Sunday night.

The Cowboys are hurting on the defensive side of the ball with injuries. Standout linebacker Sean Lee has already been ruled out with a neck injury, and linebacker Ernie Sims is listed as doubtful after missing practice all week because of a groin injury.

Of course, Romo is out for the remainder of the season after having back surgery on Friday morning.

Dallas lists a slew of other players as probable for Sunday's game, including wide receiver Dez Bryant. Bryant has a back injury and was limited in practice on Wednesday, did not practice on Thursday and was limited on Friday. He said earlier in the week that there was "no doubt" that he would play in this game, however.

Cornerback Morris Claiborne is listed as probable with a hamstring injury and is expected to return to the Dallas lineup for the first time since November 24. Wide receiver/kick returner Dwayne Harris is also probable with a hamstring injury after missing the most recent three games.

Also probable: defensive back Jakar Hamilton (hip), defensive tackle Jason Hatcher (neck), linebacker DeVonte Holloman (hip), defensive end George Selvie (back) and defensive end Jarius Wynn (chest).
