Biography

A two-time defensive team captain for the New Orleans Saints, Malcolm Jenkins signed a three-year contract with the Eagles on the first day of free agency in 2014. Originally a first-round draft pick (14th overall) of the Saints in 2009 out of Ohio State, Jenkins has to-taled career numbers of 394 tackles, seven sacks, six interceptions (two for TDs), four forced fumbles and three fumble recoveries. In 2013, the safety played in 14 games and set career highs in sacks (2.5) and forced fumbles (2). The six-year veteran launched the Malcolm Jenkins Foundation in 2010 in an effort to enhance the lives of children in underserved communities.
