Biography

An athletic and intelligent target at the tight end position, Zach Ertz showed immense promise in his rookie season in 2013 after becoming the highest tight end drafted by the Eagles (35th overall) since the team selected Keith Jackson in 1988. A former basketball player in high school, Ertz made the transformation to All American tight end at Stanford, where his 898 receiving yards in 2012 led all Cardinal pass catchers and all FBS tight ends, while his 69 receptions tied for the FBS lead at that position.
