Westbrook: I Can't Wait To Get Back

In an exclusive sideline interview with running back Brian Westbrook, Dave Spadaro got the latest on his rehab and how bad he wants to get on the field. Westbrook has been sidelined while recovering from the ankle debridement procedure that he had in early June. During a few of the training camp practices, Westbrook has done rehab which has included jogging and playing soccer.

On Eagles Flight Night! and the Eagles fans: "I love these fans, the best fans in the NFL. I want to thank everybody for being here tonight."

On the rehab: "I feel great. Things are going really well. We're progressing, getting better every day. I can't wait to get back on the field with my teammates."

On getting so close to the Super Bowl last season and what the team learned: "We learned a lot. We know we have what it takes to win a Super Bowl. We have to push a little bit more. We gained a lot of good players. We are going to use those guys this year to get us back to the Super Bowl."

On seeing the offense progress during the off-season: "Very explosive. We have a lot of good guys, young guys that are playing. We got some vets, a good core of vets that will do a great job this season."

On whether he's itching to get back on the field: "I can't wait to get back on the field. I'm ready."
