Vick Tops In NFC Pro Bowl Vote

The NFL released the leaders for the fan vote in the Pro Bowl on Tuesday, and two Eagles are the lead vote-getters at their respective positions.

Quarterback Michael Vick has received the most votes of any NFC player with 405,292. He is second in the NFL in votes, only behind Colts quarterback Peyton Manning (496,658). Vick has made the Pro Bowl three times in his career, most recently in 2005 when Vick threw for 2,425 yards and scored 21 total touchdowns (also in '02 and '04).

Also leading the vote at his position is kicker David Akers. The soon-to-be all-time Eagles leader in games played (he'll tie that record on Sunday) is tied for second in the league in points scored and has converted on 20 of 25 field goal attempts. Akers has also topped his career high for touchbacks in a season with 19, and there are still six games to be played.

Voting takes place through December 20, so make sure to click here and support all your favorite Eagles players. The Eagles sent nine players last season.
