Eleven players were on the injury report and all of them were listed as probable for the game. That includes quarterback Michael Vick, who has missed the last two games with a quad injury. Despite his status for the game, head coach Andy Reid would not confirm that Vick would be the No. 2 quarterback behind Donovan McNabb.
"I told you last week he might be, so I don't want to tell you again that he might be," Reid said on Thursday. "We'll just see when we get there."
Part of the reason for the players' good health heading into this game is the fact that Reid held shorter practices this week. Reid decided to place more of an emphasis on other areas of preparation for the third meeting with the Cowboys.
"I think that's important that you give the players every opportunity, physically and mentally, that you can to be strong in the game," Reid said. "So we've cut back in certain areas and added some time in other areas. We'll see how that works."
The Eagles will travel to Dallas later this afternoon.
