Two Starters Out For Falcons

The middle of the offensive and defensive lines for the Falcons will be impacted for Sunday night's game against the Eagles due to injury.

Center Todd McClure is out due to a knee injury and will be replaced in the lineup for the second straight week by Joe Hawley. Expect the Eagles to try and expose this with defensive tackle Cullen Jenkins, who had a sack in his Eagles debut last week against the Rams.

Defensive tackle Jonathan Babineaux is also out for the Falcons with a torn MCL injury. Former first-round pick Peria Jerry will take Babineaux's spot in the lineup. The Falcons didn't have their other starting defensive tackle, Corey Peters, for the season opener due to a torn patellar tendon, but he returned to practice this week and was listed as probable on the injury report.

Nickel cornerback Chris Owens was a limited participant in Friday's practice due to an ankle injury and is questionable for Sunday's game. Recently signed Kelvin Hayden would be the nickel corner if Owens can't play.

Wide receiver Roddy White (knee), Harry Douglas (concussion) and fullback Ovie Mughelli (knee) were also on the injury report, but are all probable for the game.
