Training Camp Questions: The Rookies

Will any of the rookies step in and immediately contribute?

First-round pick Brandon Graham is expected to play early at left defensive end. Nate Allen, the team's second-round selection, is in line to start at free safety. Third-round pick Daniel Te'o-Nesheim could see substantial action at defensive end or defensive tackle.

So, then, the answer is yes. The Eagles need their draft class to be productive. They selected 13 players and they liked what they saw in the spring. Now that the pads are going on, the Eagles will have a much better feel for how advanced the rookie class is.
