Tickets For Taylor Swift Go On Sale Jan. 21

The Eagles announced today that tickets for Taylor Swift's August 6 performance at Lincoln Financial Field will go on sale January 21, 2011. Lincoln Financial Field is one of only seven stadium performances that the young superstar will play in the United States.

The SPEAK NOW WORLD TOUR 2011 is one of the most-anticipated musical experiences of the year, as Taylor's live show is renowned for her incredibly high-energy theatrical presentation of graphics, sets and visual elements, all conceptualized by Taylor herself. During the course of her show, Taylor plays a variety of instruments and has multiple wardrobe changes. Each show, Taylor performs hit after hit from her three Big Machine Records albums, including the chart-topping "Mine," "Love Story," "You Belong With Me," "Our Song," and "Fifteen."

"We are thrilled to have such a blockbuster act come to Lincoln Financial Field. Since its inception our goal has been to have an excellent venue for sports and other entertainment," said Don Smolenski, Philadelphia Eagles Chief Operating Officer.

He continued, "We have had amazing success attracting incredible events from around the globe, whether it's hosting Manchester United vs Celtic, CONCACAF Gold Cup Match, AC Milan vs Chelsea, NCAA Lacrosse Championships or showcasing Kenny Chesney for four sold-out performances - and of course we have U2 in Philadelphia in July 2011. We are particularly excited about the benefits that these events mean for the city's economic vitality with hotel, restaurants and other hospitality services being utilized. With the international scope of sporting events Lincoln Financial Field showcases Philadelphia as an intriguing tourism destination, while generating millions of dollars for the City."

Taylor will play shows throughout Asia and Europe during the first quarter of 2011, before kicking off her North American tour on May 27th in Omaha, Nebraska.

Tickets for the Lincoln Financial Field concert go on sale, starting January 21, 2011 at 10:00 AM, and can be purchased at PhiladelphiaEagles.com.
