Three Eagles Ruled Out For Sunday

On Friday, Coach Pederson ruled three Eagles players out for Sunday's game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Tight end Zach Ertz (rib), cornerback Leodis McKelvin (hamstring) and guard Isaac Seumalo (pectoral) will be inactive on Sunday, though Pederson said that he expects all three players to be back on the field after the Eagles return from their Week 4 bye.

Meanwhile, Mychal Kendricks (fractured nose, quad contusion) will practice on Friday and should be good to go, according to the head coach. However, the linebacker was officially listed as questionable on the team's injury report.

Ertz missed Monday night's game against Chicago due to a rib displacement injury he suffered in the season opener against the Browns. Kendricks incurred his injuries Monday night in Chicago. McKelvin missed the Bears game, as did Seumalo.

Without Ertz in the lineup against Chicago, Trey Burton stepped in and played well, catching his first career touchdown pass. Ron Brooks started at cornerback, while rookie Jalen Mills played a significant amount of reps on the outside when Brooks went inside to play nickel.

Also on the injury report this week for the Eagles are defensive end Vinny Curry (knee), safety Malcolm Jenkins (foot), safety Chris Maragos (elbow) and safety Jaylen Watkins (knee). All players have all been full participants.

WR Wheaton On Track, G Ramon Foster Questionable for Steelers

The Steelers appear poised to get another weapon back on offense in time for this Sunday's game with the Eagles. Starting wide receiver Markus Wheaton was a full participant in practice Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. He played in just one preseason game and missed the first two regular season contests due to a shoulder injury.

Last season, Wheaton had 44 catches for 749 yards and five touchdowns. He was expected to have a big role this year after Martavis Bryant's year-long suspension.

In the Week 2 win over the Bengals, Sammie Coates stepped up with receptions of 44 and 53 yards, as Antonio Brown was held to 39 yards on four catches.

The biggest question for the Steelers is guard Ramon Foster, who is officially questionable with an elbow injury. Foster has been limited in practice on Thursday and Friday.

Defensive end Cameron Heyward was added to the injury report Thursday as a limited participant due to a knee injury, but he was a full participant on Friday. Backup quarterback Landry Jones was also added on Thursday as a non-participant due to a back injury, but appears to be ready to go for Sunday.
