The Eagles came back on the field with the same energy they started off with and had no intention of letting down the enthusiastic fans in the stands. They ended the third quarter leading the Colts 26-10.

A touchback had the Eagles starting at the 20-yard line and Raheem Mostert wasted no time getting up the field. Mostert ran for 8 yards followed by a 38-yard run catch and run on a Barkley pass.

A few plays later, Cody Parkey came out to give the Eagles three more points on a 48-yard field goal.

The Colts started at the 20-yard line for their first possession in the third quarter with Bryan Bennett in as quarterback for the first time this game.  Josh Robinson gained 11 yards up to the 31-yard line, and on third-and-10 at the 42-yard line, Bennett carried 15 yards to the Philadelphia 43-yard line. Two carries by Robinson gave the Colts another 15 yards. Bennett then threw a deep pass up the middle to Duron Carter for 16 yards, and a 9-yard run by Robinson gave the Colts their first touchdown of the game.

The Eagles took back control of the ball with a score of 26-10, as quarterback Tim Tebow entered the field for his debut as an Eagle on the 20-yard line. Tebow's first pass was complete to Seyi Ajirotutu for 5 yards and another completed pass to Tomlinson gave the Eagles offense a gain of 15 yards.

Making their way up the field, Tebow and the Eagles offense completed two short left passes to Tomlinson for 23 yards total. The Eagles made their way into the Colts' red zone, but were unable to convert the chance into any points, as a Parkey missed field goal stalled the drive.

The Colts failed to get anything going on the next possession and ended up punting back to the Eagles.

A deep pass by Tebow to Rasheed Bailey (who made a spectacular catch) for 18 yards completed the third quarter with the Eagles up 26-10.
