Sprole Train
RB Darren Sproles scored two touchdowns, including an 89-yard punt return and his 18th career rushing touchdown
His 89-yard punt return ranks as the second-longest in team history behind Damaris Johnson's 98-yarder on 12/2/12 at Dallas
Sproles now has three punt return touchdowns as an Eagle, trailing only DeSean Jackson (4) for the team record
According to Stats Inc., Sproles' eight career kickoff and punt return touchdowns are tied for 10th all-time and third among active players behind only Devin Hester (19) and Jacoby Jones (9)
Sproles is the only player in NFL history with 15-plus rushing TDs (18), 25-plus receiving TDs (27) and five-plus punt return TDs (6)
Sproles is the one of three Eagles players since 1960 with a rushing and punt return touchdown in the same game, joining Timmy Brown (1961) and Brian Westbrook (2003). Sproles also did it on 11/10/14 vs. Carolina.

Forcing the Issue
The Eagles defense registered four takeaways against the Jets, including three interceptions and a fumble. Coming into the game, the Jets had just two giveaways
The defense has forced at least one turnover in nine consecutive contests (21 overall during that span)
DB Eric Rowe and LB Jordan Hicks each made their first-career interceptions. Hicks also recovered a fumble in his first-career start
The last Eagles rookie linebacker with an interception was Stewart Bradley on 12/23/07 and that was also his first-career start
In the last two games, Hicks has a forced fumble, a fumble recovery and an interception
The last time the Eagles had two rookies with an interception in the same game was 10/18/87 at GB by Mike Kullman and Troy West. According to Pro Football Reference, that was the only other occurrence by Eagles rookies since 1960.

Defensive Nuggets
LB Connor Barwin recorded his second sack of the season. He now has four sacks over the last six games and 21.5 as an Eagle, moving past Brian Dawkins (21) and into 20th on the team's all-time list. Barwin has a sack against Jets QB Ryan Fitzpatrick in each of his last three games against the signal caller
S Walter Thurmond recorded his third-career interception and his second of the season
The Eagles held the Jets to just 47 rushing yards and 2.9 yards per carry. The defense has not allowed an individual 100-yard rusher in 15 games and just one in the last 27.

Offensive Quick Hits
RB Ryan Mathews accumulated 108 rushing yards and 20 receiving yards, and scored his second-career receiving touchdown. It was Mathews' 13th-career 100-yard performance and his second touchdown in three games this season
WR Jordan Matthews has led the team in receptions and yards in each of the last four games, becoming the first Eagle to do so since Irving Fryar in 1997. During that span, Matthews has accumulated 30 receptions for 336 yards and two touchdowns
Matthews has at least six receptions in each of the last four games, becoming the fourth Eagle to do so and the first since Brent Celek in 2009

Birdseed
The Eagles are 10-0 all-time against the Jets
LB Jordan Hicks, DE Brandon Bair and S Chris Maragos each made their first-career start
LB Jon Dorenbos played in his 136th consecutive game, which ranks as the seventh-longest streak in team history.
