Te'o-Nesheim Becomes 10th Draft Pick Signed

The Eagles announced that they have signed defensive end Daniel Te'o-Nesheim - that's pronounced tuh-OH NESS-ime for everyone who wants to know - to a four-year contract. Te'o-Nesheim is the 10th Eagles draft pick to get under contract, leaving only three unsigned - Brandon Graham, Nate Allen and Riley Cooper.

A third-round pick out of Washington, Te'o-Nesheim is the highest of the Eagles draft picks under contract. In fact, the Eagles are one of only seven teams to have a third-round draft pick under contract. To date, no first- or second-round draft picks have signed.

The 6-3, 263-pound Te'o-Nesheim started in every game (49 total) in his four-year career with the Huskies and finished as the school's all-time sacks leader with 30. A two-time second-team All-Pac 10 selection, Te'o-Nesheim posted 14 tackles for loss and 11 sacks as a senior in 2009. He finished his college career with 194 tackles, 47 tackles for loss, 30 sacks and eight forced fumbles.

The 23-year-old attended Hawaii Prep High School, where he was a two-time first-team All-Big Island Scholastic Federation selection.
