Some Starters Getting In On The Action

The OTAs for rookies and selected vets are underway with a few surprise participants.

Two of last year's draft picks who started during the season - free safety Macho Harris and linebacker Moise Fokou - are taking part in the workouts.

Along the offensive line, guard Max Jean-Gilles, who did not participate in the post-draft mini-camp after undergoing lap band surgery, is out on the field. Joining Jean-Gilles are offensive tackle King Dunlap, guards Fenuki Tupou and Greg Isdaner and center A.Q. Shipley.

Two former Super Bowl champions - free safety Marlin Jackson ('06 Colts) and cornerback Geoff Pope ('07 Giants) - are practicing.

Other veterans include free safety Quintin Demps, linebacker Joe Mays, defensive tackle Antonio Dixon, defensive end Alex Hall, wide receiver Jordan Norwood and tight ends Cornelius Ingram and Martin Rucker.
