Shurmur: Foles To Practice Tuesday

On Tuesday morning, Eagles offensive coordinator Pat Shurmur updated the team's quarterback situation, saying that Nick Foles has cleared his imPACT concussion test and will practice with the team on Tuesday.

Shurmur said that Foles and Matt Barkley will split reps "50-50" during Tuesday's practice.

"Nick will be out there today," said Shurmur. "Nick and Matt will share the reps today, so we'll just get a feel for where Nick is at. He had a good day of meetings and he'll come out and practice with us and we'll see where we are at."

Foles is listed as the team's No. 2 quarterback on the depth chart behind Michael Vick, but Shurmur and the rest of the Eagles coaching staff will wait to see how Foles responds to being back out on the field before they name anyone as the team's starter for Sunday's game against the Oakland Raiders.

"We haven't seen him out here since the Dallas game, so we have to see where he's at," Shurmur explained. "I think Chip (Kelly) will visit (who starts on Sunday) ... We just have to see right now, and that's where we are at. It's Tuesday, and we'll be out here training. He'll get a substantial amount of reps today and we'll just see how he responds."

As for Michael Vick, his status remains day-to-day.

"I don't know that at this point," Shurmur said of Vick. "He's been in meetings but he's also been spending time with the trainers, so we'll just have to see."
