Rumor Mill is an aggregation of Eagles-related reports, rumors and wild speculation. The team does not endorse these items.

According to a report from Tim McManus from Birds 24/7, the Dallas Cowboys could be a team to watch in the Nolan Carroll sweepstakes.

Carroll joined the Eagles prior to the 2014 season as a free agent. In his first year in Philadelphia, he mainly played special teams and served as the team's dime back. In 2015, Carroll won the starting outside corner job and had a very good season until an ankle injury against the Lions on Thanksgiving Day shut him down for the rest of the year.

The Eagles have signed three new members to the secondary - Leodis McKelvin, Rodney McLeod and Ron Brooks- in the past few days.

Meanwhile, another Eagle could also land in Dallas, as David Moore of the Dallas Morning News is reporting that Cedric Thornton will visit the Cowboys today.

Thornton worked his way up from undrafted free agent to full-time starter with the Eagles along the defensive line. He's been among the best run-blockers on the Eagles' roster over the past few seasons.
